C6 Outdoor has developed an innovative tent that can be used both as a roof tent on the car and as a regular tent on the ground. This versatile design provides flexibility for camping experiences wherever you want to set up camp.

Here is their story:

Having traveled around Africa in a pick-up truck on their honeymoon, founders Dave and Tina were no strangers to long road trips and living in rooftop tents. They helped build one of the most respected and popular overlanding vehicle accessory companies, all from humble beginnings in their garage.

After almost a decade, they decided to take a break, step away from the business and go on adventures with their children. They equipped a Land Rover with the best overlanding equipment and from their home in the mountains outside of Los Angeles, they set out on a long drive to South America.

As they reflected on a lifetime of doing well, they were struck by the friendships they had made along the way and the ease with which they could connect with very different people over a shared campfire. What started as a spark turned into an obsession – how to get more people outside, more people traveling and camping, more people connecting with each other.

Dave and Tina decided that the straight path from A to B was to take the hard out of the hard.
